Job summary

REIC Rentals LLC is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support data center customers in Northeast Virginia. You will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain temporary climate control equipment, ensuring peak performance in both shop and customer sites.

Joining REIC means a Monday–Friday schedule (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with on-call rotation, overtime opportunities, and comprehensive benefits after 60 days, plus training, career growth, and a safety-first culture in a growing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Experience servicing mission-critical facilities or data centers is highly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical systems.
• Working knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment, chillers, package units, air handlers, and temporary climate control systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory and work overtime when needed.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and temporary climate control equipment supporting data center operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on air conditioning, heating, ventilation, dehumidification, and power equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and control system issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Install, start up, and commission rental equipment at customer sites.
• Provide exceptional customer service and basic operational training to customers.
• Accurately document service work, inspections, and repairs using electronic service systems.
• Travel throughout Northeast Virginia to support customer locations.
• Follow all company and customer safety procedures, including strict data center safety protocols.
