Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support data center customers in Northeast Virginia. You will service and maintain temporary climate control equipment, ensuring peak performance in shop and at customer sites.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of HVAC experience, data center familiarity, and strong troubleshooting skills. Travel across Northeast Virginia is required; EPA certification and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Experience servicing mission-critical facilities or data centers preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and temporary climate control equipment for data centers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, power, and control systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and control issues.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Install, start up, and commission rental equipment at customer sites.
• Provide customer service and basic training to customers.
• Document service work and inspections using electronic systems.
• Travel throughout Northeast Virginia to support customer locations.
• Follow safety procedures including data center protocols.
