Job summary

REIC Rentals is seeking a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support our Data Center customers throughout Northeast Virginia. You will service and maintain temporary climate control equipment in data centers, ensuring reliable operation and safety.

Travel across Northeast Virginia, perform preventive maintenance on HVAC and power equipment, and document work using electronic systems. This role offers on-site work, comprehensive benefits after 60 days, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
Experience servicing data centers or mission-critical facilities preferred.
Strong troubleshooting in electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical systems.
Able to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
EPA Universal Certification preferred.
Valid driver's license with clean record.
Willingness to travel across Northeast Virginia.
Must be 21+ and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC and temporary climate control equipment for data centers.
Perform preventive maintenance on air handling, cooling, dehumidification, and power equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and control system issues.
Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and manuals.
Install, start up, and commission rental equipment at customer sites.
Document service work and inspections using electronic systems.
Travel throughout Northeast Virginia to support customer locations.
Follow safety procedures and data center protocols.
