Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to service air‑cooled and water‑cooled chillers, industrial chillers, AHUs, and large roof‑top units. You will join a team focused on safety, reliability, and customer value across North America.

We provide factory certification through the STA, uniforms, tools, and a company vehicle. Travel up to 20% may be required for startup, commissioning, and aftermarket service across branch customers.

Qualifications

• Practical working experience on air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, industrial chillers, AHU's or large roof top ducted units with strong HVAC/ mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, absorption chillers, screw chillers and/or ammonia / hydrocarbon system components.
• Maintains ammonia and hydrocarbon safety training certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level service and troubleshooting for chillers and associated equipment.
• Lead complex repairs, startups, and retrofits with customers on site.
• Provide quotes to customers and support recommendations for energy efficiency and uptime.
