Job summary

Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to support our fast-growing North America HVAC business.

You will work with air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, AHUs, and large roof-top units, delivering commissioning and aftermarket service with a focus on safety and customer outcomes. We offer factory certification through our Service Technical Academy, incentive programs, tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of practical experience on air-cooled or water-cooled chillers or large roof-top units.
• Experience repairing centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, absorption/screw chillers.
• Ammonia/hydrocarbon safety training certification.
• Able to travel 10–20% to support startup, commissioning and aftermarket service.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level service and solutions during commissioning and aftermarket service.
• Upsell opportunities by recommending efficiency improvements and solutions.
• Prepare quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
• Maintain safety certifications and stay current with training programs.
