Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC technicians to service air cooled and water cooled chillers in mission‑critical facilities in North America. You will participate in startup, commissioning, and aftermarket service, with training through our Service Technical Academy and opportunities for advancement.

Requirements include union membership or willingness to join, practical experience with large tonnage chillers, compressors, and control systems, plus travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Must be a member or willing to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, AFL-CIO.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers and industrial chillers.
• Lead large repairs, startups, and retrofits.
• Provide quotes and recommendations to customers to improve facility efficiency.
