Job summary
Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to support fast-growing North America HVAC businesses.
You will service air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, industrial chillers, AHUs, and large roof-top units, with a strong focus on troubleshooting, commissioning, and aftermarket service. We provide factory certification through our Service Technical Academy (STA), offer incentive programs, and supply tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle to perform your job to the highest
Qualifications
- Practical working experience on air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, industrial chillers, AHUs or large roof top units with strong HVAC/mechanical troubleshooting experience.
- Able to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, absorption/chillers, or related components.
- Extensive HVAC system knowledge including chilled water loops, pumps and compressor troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert service to optimize facility performance and resolve issues during commissioning and aftermarket service.
- Lead and train teammates during startup, commissioning, and service activities.
- Prepare quotes to support recommendations and upsell service solutions.
- Travel 10%–20% to support branch customers and training activities.
