Job summary

TICA Global is seeking a seasoned sales engineer to drive technical sales for mission-critical data center HVAC and cooling solutions in the Phoenix region. You will engage colocation providers, hyperscalers, and MEP firms to design, quote, and close complex projects.

The role requires deep DC HVAC knowledge, experience in full-cycle sales, and the ability to manage bids, proposals, and post-sale support while sustaining strong client relationships for repeat business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B technical sales or sales engineering in mission-critical data center HVAC and cooling.
• Deep knowledge of CRAC/CRAH, chilled water systems, indirect evaporative cooling, AHUs, and thermal management for hyperscale/colocation DCs.
• Familiar with Tier 3/Tier 4 data center design standards, MEP workflow, bidding processes, and high-uptime requirements.
• Proven track record in full-cycle technical sales, solution proposals, budget quoting, and project closure.
• Ability to cover the Phoenix, AZ market and meet annual sales targets.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical sales and business development for mission-critical data center HVAC & cooling solutions.
• Target and develop key DC stakeholders across Phoenix, AZ region.
• Deliver customized HVAC system design proposals, presentations, budgets, and full-cycle project sales support.
• Manage sales pipeline, forecast opportunities, track tenders & bids, and achieve annual quotas.
• Serve as the technical liaison between customers and internal engineering, product, and project teams.
• Monitor market trends and provide feedback for product optimization and regional sales strategy.
• Build strategic relationships and expand repeat business and references.
• Support post-sale technical alignment, site visits, and project milestones.
