Job summary

Nebius B.V. is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer – RMA & Hardware Diagnostics to own advanced hardware troubleshooting and RMA lifecycle management within our production data center environments.

This on-site role collaborates with L1/L2 technicians, infrastructure engineers, and vendors to reduce repeat failures and improve hardware quality across the fleet. You will perform deep diagnostics on enterprise server platforms, validate failed components, manage warranty claims with OEMs, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with enterprise server hardware in production data centers.
• Strong knowledge of x86 architecture, CPUs, memory, PCIe, storage controllers and power subsystems.
• Experience with firmware and BIOS/BMC diagnostics and upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced firmware and hardware diagnostics on enterprise server platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware failures using logs, BMC/IPMI interfaces, BIOS diagnostics, and vendor tools.
• Act as the primary escalation point for L1/L2 technicians on high-impact hardware incidents.
• Own the full RMA lifecycle, including validation, warranty claims, and vendor coordination.
• Interface with OEM vendors to escalate defects and drive corrective action.
• Analyze hardware failure trends and report metrics such as repeat RMAs and reliability.
• Develop diagnostic playbooks and standard operating procedures.
• Validate replacement components before redeployment into production.
