Job summary

Nebius B.V. in Minnesota is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer – RMA & Hardware Diagnostics to own advanced hardware troubleshooting and RMA lifecycle management within Nebius production data centers.

This hands-on role directly impacts hardware reliability and fleet availability. You will work on-site with L1/L2 technicians, perform structured root cause analyses, and coordinate with OEM vendors to drive quality improvements across the fleet.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with enterprise server hardware in production data centers.
• Strong knowledge of x86 server architecture: CPUs, memory, PCIe devices, storage controllers, GPUs, power subsystems.
• Experience with firmware and BIOS/BMC diagnostics and upgrades.
• Linux command-line troubleshooting and log analysis.
• Experience managing hardware RMA processes with OEM vendors.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Own advanced hardware troubleshooting and RMA lifecycle management.
• Serve as escalation point for complex server and firmware issues that impact reliability and fleet availability.
• Perform structured root-cause analysis and validate failed components.
• Collaborate with L1/L2 technicians, infrastructure engineers, and vendors to reduce repeat failures.
• Improve hardware reliability, SLA performance, and operational scalability.
