Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY brand, seeks a Business Development Specialist for the West region to expand data center market presence. You will build relationships with key decision-makers, contribute to marketing collateral, and drive strategic partnerships.

You will engage with Tier 2–Edge data centers, manage CRM data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business plans and events. Travel is required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years’ experience in similar or related role.
• Experience in business development or customer facing role preferred.
• Established contacts within Tier 2, Tier 3 and Edge data center segments.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with decision-makers and specifiers in data centers.
• Utilize CRM (STAR) to log interactions and track opportunities.
• Develop business plan and annual goals with the sales team.
• Collaborate with marketing on vertical market collateral and event planning.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and partnership summits to foster relationships.
• Create case studies and white papers on data centers as requested.
