Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is seeking a Business Development Specialist, Data Centers in the West region to grow our data center presence. You will engage decision-makers, build partnerships, and expand brand awareness through conferences, events, and industry collaborations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in a related field, experience in business development or customer-facing roles, and established data center contacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years’ related experience.
• Experience in business development or customer facing roles.
• Established contacts in Tier 2/3 and Edge data center segments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to organizational mission, vision, and values.
• Research markets to gain knowledge and direction.
• Update key accounts and partner data in CRM (STAR).
• Log interactions with contacts in STAR CRM and track data center projects.
• Develop annual business plans and goals.
• Coordinate with marketing for vertical collateral and events.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams.
