Job summary

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, seeks a Business Development Specialist for Data Centers in the West Region. You will build relationships with decision-makers and specifiers in Tier 2–Edge data centers to drive market expansion.

The role requires market research, CRM data management, travel for conferences and events, and collaboration with Marketing and Engineering to develop collateral and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous Business Development or customer facing experience, preferably in the data center vertical.
• Candidate should have established contacts within the Tier 2, Tier 3, and Edge data center segments.
• Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software are used daily.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to the organizational mission, vision, and values statement.
• Conduct research to gain market knowledge and direction for the market.
• Add and update key accounts and partners data & profile information within CRM (STAR).
• Use CRM (STAR) to log interactions with contacts and understand data center projects.
• Develop a business plan and outline goals annually.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop collateral and plan events.
