Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Business Development Leader for Data Centers, based in one of our offices in Round Rock, TX; Houston, TX; St. Louis, MO; or Blue Bell, PA. You will lead assigned account teams, build strategic growth plans, and drive opportunities across the Process Systems & Solutions group.

You will interact with executives to deliver measurable results for customers and Emerson. The role emphasizes trusted advisory services, cross-functional collaboration, and strong relationship

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical Field earned from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 4 years of sales related experience.
• Data Center experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the Industrial Process Automation industry and its key players.
• Proven track record of creating business value and building strong relationships.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• DeltaV DCS knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, channel partners, and internal teams within the Data Center industry.
• Develop and execute strategic growth plans to expand systems and software opportunities.
• Lead sales pursuits and account development activities delivering value for customers and Emerson.
• Facilitate quarterly business reviews and communicate industry trends and growth opportunities.
• Represent Emerson at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to strengthen market presence.
