Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Project Manager for Tenant Fit Out and data center customer fit-out projects. You will oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of construction work, ensuring profitability and quality while meeting owner expectations.

The role requires coordinating with multiple teams, managing subcontractors, and ensuring safety and compliance across the project lifecycle. This position emphasizes strong leadership and a commitment to Layton's values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field, or the equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of four or more years project management experience within Data Center Construction.
• Has a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Knowledge of commercial construction processes and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Leads the project team in preparing the project management plan (PMP).
• Prepares project budgets and unit cost reports.
• Manages procurement of materials and equipment within budget.
• Negotiates change orders and manages cost/profit impact.
• Develops and monitors project quality, safety, and risk management plans.
• Coordinates final close out procedures and owner coordination meetings.
