Job summary

Sapsf Data Center FieldOps Technician (RunOps Technician) is responsible for supporting all production network cabling in the Datacenter. Responsibilities include executing MACs, labeling hardware, performing terminations and testing, maintaining logs, and ensuring security and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Preferred 3–5 years of fiber experience.
• Preferred industry certifications (Corning/FOA).

Responsibilities

• Support and complete all scheduled data center MACs.
• Perform hardware installation MACs, including labeling, power, and network cable connectivity.
• Complete hardware support work orders involving MACs, certification, troubleshooting, and break-fix.
• Manage assets, auditing, and daily work log/ticket tracking.
• Provide smart-hands assistance within SLA timelines; on-call duties may apply.
• Maintain safe and secure operating environment; report violations.
• Log and document media storage devices; follow security protocols.
• Coordinate equipment installation and delivery per project plans.
• Conduct daily error log reporting and health inspections (power, cooling, hazards).
