Job summary

EOS IT Solutions in Santa Clara is seeking a Data Center Field Operations Lead to oversee the infrastructure engineering team, directing installation, service, and maintenance of low voltage cabling and fiber optics across data centers.

You will mentor technicians, enforce safety and quality standards, develop MOP/CMOP, manage tickets, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable data center infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a tech discipline or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years leading teams and managing low voltage cabling projects.
• 2+ years in people management or team leadership.
• Strong fiber optic knowledge, termination and test skills.
• Knowledge of standards such as BICSI, ANSI, EIA/TIA; NEC familiarity.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, service, and maintenance of low voltage cabling in data centers.
• Lead and mentor a team in pulling cables and racking equipment.
• Ensure fiber/copper connections meet quality standards and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and enforce MOP/CMOP guidelines.
• Manage tickets and infrastructure interfaces for projects.
