Job summary

The Themesoft Inc. team is seeking a hands-on Data Center Networking Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure in enterprise and colocation data centers.

You will rack and connect gear, lay out copper and fiber cabling, terminate links, and test with industry tools such as Fluke DSX, power meters, and OTDR where required. You will document cabling and work with project teams to meet schedules, while following safety and ESD standards.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and maintaining data center cabling.
• Ability to terminate copper and fiber links.
• Familiarity with testing equipment and documentation.

About the Role

We’re hiring a hands-on Data Center Networking Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure in enterprise and colocation data centers. You’ll be the go-to expert for racking/stacking gear, fiber and copper cabling, device turn-up,

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain structured cabling systems in data centers:
  • Copper: Cat6/6A/7 patch cords and permanent links
  • Fiber: single-mode (OS2) and multi-mode (OM3/OM4/OM5) trunk and patch cabling
• Perform cable routing, dressing, and management in racks, overhead ladder tray, under-floor, and containment systems to meet bend-radius and labeling standards.amazon+1
• Terminate and test copper and fiber links using:
  • Copper certifiers (e.g., Fluke DSX)
  • Fiber test equipment: power meter, light source, VFL, and OTDR where requiredamazon+1
• Label and document all cabling per site standards: rack/unit/port, panel/port, circuit IDs, and as-built drawings.
• Work from design drawings, BOMs, and cabling schedules to deploy patch panels, fiber distribution frames, and cable pathways.amazon+1
• Coordinate with project managers and site teams to complete cabling projects on schedule, including new builds, refreshes, and moves/adds/changes.
• Follow all safety, ESD, and data center access/compliance requirements.
