EOS IT Solutions is seeking a Data Center Field Operations Lead to oversee infrastructure engineering, focusing on low voltage cabling, fiber optics, and data-center connectivity. You will guide a technical team through installation, maintenance and troubleshooting, ensuring safety and adherence to standards across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading teams in low voltage cabling projects.
• 2+ years of people management or team lead experience.
• Experience installing, terminating and testing fiber optic cabling.
• Strong knowledge of BICSI, ANSI, EIA/TIA, NEC standards.
• Industry certifications such as BICSI TECH or Corning TSLAN-500 preferred.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee installation, service and maintenance of low voltage cabling and communications cabling.
• Lead and mentor a team in pulling cables and racking equipment in data centers.
• Ensure fiber and copper connections meet quality standards and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Develop and enforce MOP and CMOP guidelines.
• Manage work ticket systems and infrastructure interfaces for project delivery.
• Document and validate port maps; provide advanced troubleshooting support.
• Direct power distribution and cable management to optimize performance and safety.
• Coordinate with team members to complete projects on time and to high standards.
• Enforce procedures and safety regulations; support operations leadership with information needs.
• Maintain equipment and supplies inventory; respond to emergencies to meet SLAs.
• Drive escalation processes for complex problems to the appropriate engineers.
• Lead use of DSX 5000 tester/OTDR; oversee testers and test-result management.
