Job summary

ABB is seeking a senior Data Center Services leader to run day-to-day service activities in the United States. The role reports to the Director, Data Center Services Center of Excellence and supports the ELE SE division with a remote-first model across the U.S., preferring Western/Mountain time zones.

Responsibilities include improving service availability, driving KPI-based performance, managing surge operations, and coaching Field Service Engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business or commensurate experience.
• Experience with Data Center start-up and commissioning strategies.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of MS Project and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Improve service availability, quality, and customer experience across field service operations.
• Develop and review field service strategy aligned with global objectives.
• Lead a culture of operational excellence, risk management, and end-to-end service delivery.
• Oversee Surge Team operations including onboarding, training, and timesheets.
• Provide leadership and coaching for Field Service Engineers/Technicians.
• Collaborate across ABB teams to allocate personnel and resolve issues.
