Job summary

KALCON is seeking a Field Project Manager to provide Owner Representation during the tenant fit-out of multiple buildings on a data center campus in Texas. The role emphasizes field management, schedule oversight, QA/QC, and coordination between base-build and fit-out teams.

A Bachelor's in CM/Engineering or equivalent, 7–10 years in design/construction, and MS Office/Project proficiency are required. This full-time position requires on-site presence five days a week with a competitive salary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering, or applicable trade/superintendent experience.
• 7–10 years in design or construction of projects with labs, semiconductor, data center, or critical facility experience.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Strong written and oral communication with senior management, service providers, workers, and contractors.

• Safety Oversight
• Schedule Oversight - Day-to-Day Tracking/Management
• Owner/GC Coordination: Base Build GC vs. Fit-Out GC
• MOP Coordination
• Delivery Coordination
• Site Logistics Coordination
• QA/QC
• Diving Into Plans/Specs - Understand Design Intent/Scope/Etc.
• Ensuring GC is Executing QA/QC Plan (Project Specific)
• Tenant Fit-Out Experience: Fast Paced Schedule
• Busway/RPP's, Hot Aisle Containment, Conveyance, Etc.
• Existing Buildings Retrofits: Added CRAH's, Power/Cooling, PQM Retrofit, Etc.
• Commissioning
• Submittals, RFI's, Procurement Log
• OFCI Tracking
• OAC Meetings
• GC Weekly Reports, Safety Metrics
• Must be on the job 5 day a week 6:30-3:30
