Job summary

KALCON is seeking an experienced Tenant Fit-Out (TFO) Field Project Manager to serve as an Owner’s Representative on newly constructed data center facilities in Cedar Rapids, IA. This role focuses on installing tenant-specific infrastructure, coordinating MEP distribution, and ensuring readiness for operations within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years of experience in design or construction, with labs/data centers/critical facilities familiarity.
• Proficient use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
• Strong written and oral communication with senior management, service providers, workers, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Safety Oversight
• Schedule Oversight - Day-to-Day Tracking/Management
• Owner/GC Coordination: Base Build GC vs. Fit-Out GC
• MOP Coordination
• Delivery Coordination
• Site Logistics Coordination
• QA/QC
• Diving Into Plans/Specs - Understand Design Intent/Scope/Etc.
• Ensuring GC is Executing QA/QC Plan (Project Specific)
• Tenant Fit-Out Experience: Fast Paced Schedule
• Busway/RPP's, Hot Aisle Containment, Conveyance, Etc.
• Existing Buildings Retrofits: Added CRAH's, Power/Cooling, PQM Retrofit, Etc.
• Commissioning
• Submittals, RFI's, Procurement Log
• OFCI Tracking
• OAC Meetings
• GC Weekly Reports, Safety Metrics
• Must be on the job 5 day a week 6:30-3:30
