Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a Field Project Manager to lead installation, programming, start-up, and verification for Fire, Security, and Building Automation projects. You will coordinate with the project team to meet scope, budget, and schedule while delivering world-class service to customers.

You will supervise field staff and subcontractors, manage risks, and ensure QC against codes and company standards, while training customers on systems and operation.

Qualifications

• Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant field service experience.
• Certifications: Product-specific and industry licenses (Genetec, Lenel, Milestone, etc.).
• Experience with building automation, fire alarm, and electronic security systems.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall site management of project(s) for timely completion within budget and scope.
• Prepares project installation plan with the Project Coordinator and implements procedures.
• Supervises Project Specialists, Installers and subcontractors; mentors and directs work.
• Coordinates subcontractors and verifies quality assurance standards on-site.
• Collaborates to optimize scope changes and improve customer satisfaction.
• Identifies project risks and supports cost/deadline control strategies.
• Ensures installation quality per national/local codes and company standards.
• Installs, programs, tests, repairs, and services systems including security and life safety.
• Provides technical support and training to customers.
