Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC in Hoffman Estates, IL is seeking a full-time Field Project Manager responsible for installation, programming, system start-up/check-out, certification, and customer training on fire, security, and building automation projects.

You will lead field teams, work with the project coordinator, manage schedule and budget, and ensure quality and compliance with codes.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service and project oversight.
• Strong ability to supervise field teams and subcontractors.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and electrical/mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site management for timely completion within budget and scope.
• Install, program, test, and certify systems (fire, security, and building automation).
• Train customers and provide technical support as needed.
• Coordinate with Project Coordinator and manage subcontractors on-site.
