Job summary

Pogue Construction in Texas is seeking a motivated Data Center Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on mission-critical projects. You will assist the Superintendent, coordinate subcontractors, monitor safety, and help maintain schedules and quality.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of field experience, reads drawings, communicates well, and is comfortable traveling. Proficiency with Procore/Bluebeam/Autodesk Construction Cloud is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction field experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent in managing day-to-day construction activities.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractor work to ensure schedule, specs and quality.
• Conduct routine jobsite walks to verify progress and identify issues.
• Assist with project logistics planning and site access control.
• Maintain organized project documentation and progress tracking.
• Support safety program administration and daily pre-task planning.

Skills

2+ years construction field experience

Strong communication and organization

Valid driver's license and travel

Education

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent)
