Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Data Center Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L2) to provide second-line onsite technical support and field engineering to clients, proactively identifying incidents and driving resolutions to meet SLA targets.

The role involves configuring client infrastructure, installing software, logging and escalating issues as needed, and coordinating with client IT and vendors to ensure timely service continuity. Hybrid working arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Computing or related field.
• Professional level certification in Data Centre technologies such as Cisco DC, NetApp ONTAP, EMC/DC.
• Moderate experience building, deploying and supporting data center networking infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Configure, install, test and operate client infrastructure.
• Install and configure software per client requirements.
• Log incidents with detailed information and expedite resolutions.
• Coordinate with client IT, carriers and colleagues to diagnose issues.
• Identify root causes of incidents and follow knowledge articles.
• Provide second-line remote and onsite technical support.
