Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ cumulative years of experience in industrial, municipal, or commercial engineering including data centers, power generation, oil/gas facilities.
• Must have a valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Review design and equipment submittals for new data centers in the region.
• Troubleshoot and perform RCA with corrective action documentation for site/equipment failures.
• Support operational issues with training, SOP reviews, and incident response.
• Own conceptual design for data center upgrades to add capacity, improve availability and efficiency.
• Interface with data center operations, design engineering, server hardware, EHS to promote reliability.
• Develop innovative solutions for AWS data centers and work on multiple projects across regions.
• Lead engineering audits and on-site visits; produce risk reports with mitigations.
• Act as resident engineer during new construction; support commissioning and turnover.
