Job summary

Csquare is seeking an Operations Technician 2 (F) to support the electrical and mechanical infrastructure of a data center in a 24/7 mission critical environment. On-call rotation and shift work, including evenings and weekends, are required.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, rounds, and coordination with contractors, with strict adherence to MP procedures and SLAs. High school diploma required; data center certifications and 2+ years’ experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certification(s) in critical facilities or data center field preferred.
• 2+ years of mission critical facilities operations experience preferred.
• On–call rotation with emergency response; shift, evening, weekend, and possible overtime.
• Operational experience with data center critical infrastructure equipment (switchgear, generators, UPS, PDU, chillers, RTU, CRAH/CRAC, chilled water, VESDA).
• Ability to pass security clearance/background check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical infrastructure per manufacturers’ recommendations and corporate specs.
• Identify and troubleshoot root causes of problems.
• Perform building rounds to ensure site integrity.
• Assist and verify customer installation activities.
• Coordinate with and oversee contractors/service providers as needed.
• Monitor building management systems to ensure operational efficiency and SLA compliance.
• Provide on–call support and emergency response as required.
• Participate in project team tasks and contribute to timely work requests.
