Job summary

Csquare in Santa Clara, CA is hiring a Facilities Technician 2 to support monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical and mechanical infrastructure within our 24/7 data center. The role requires being part of an on-call rotation for emergencies and includes shift, evening, and weekend work.

Responsibilities include performing building rounds, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with SLAs while maintaining site safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certifications in critical facilities or data center field are preferred.
• 2+ years of mission-critical facilities operations experience preferred.
• Ability to pass security clearance or background check may be required.
• Operational experience with data center infrastructure equipment is preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work with multiple vendors.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical infrastructure per SOPs.
• Identify and troubleshoot root causes of problems.
• Perform building rounds to ensure site integrity.
• Assist with customer installation verifications.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers in the data center.
• Monitor building management systems to ensure SLAs.
• Provide on-call support and emergency response when needed.
• Complete tasks as part of a project team.
• Respond to work requests promptly with high-level support.
• Follow procedures and MOPs accurately.
