Job summary

Aligned Data Centers, LLC is seeking a Facility Manager to lead 24x7 operations across one or more buildings, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. You will oversee maintenance, budgets, and compliance while driving continuous improvement and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong data center background, leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects and changes in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of increased responsibility and oversight of building systems and critical facilities equipment.
• Professional licenses are strongly preferred (electrical and mechanical).
• Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex project documents, AutoCAD, Visio, and PDF documents.
• Ability to project manage effectively.
• Ability to develop installation standards and project tracking/management documents.
• Ability to respond to sensitive issues, complex inquiries, or complaints in verbal or written form.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of facility technicians and support staff, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Oversee all aspects of facility operations to ensure efficient and safe performance.
• Support scheduling and execution of preventive maintenance and contracted maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Maintain records of facility operations and customer interactions; provide regular reports to senior management.
• Act as primary customer contact, addressing concerns and maintaining strong relationships.
