Job summary

Aligned Data Centers seeks a Facility Manager to coordinate 24x7 operations across one or more buildings. You will lead a team of technicians, ensure safety and compliance, manage preventive and contracted maintenance, and partner with internal teams on budgets and customer needs.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of building systems, and the ability to respond to emergencies with a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of responsibility overseeing building systems and critical facilities equipment.
• Professional electrical and/or mechanical licenses preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret project documents including AutoCAD, Visio and PDFs.
• Strong project management and cost-tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of facility technicians and support staff, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Ensure conformance with change control development, approvals, and execution.
• Assist in hiring, training, and managing on-site operations personnel.
• Lead the company culture through mentoring of operations staff in career and personal development.
• Oversee all facility operations to ensure efficient and effective operations and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols; conduct safety inspections and manage emergencies.
• Review and approve change requests, MOPs, SOPS, and EOPs.
• Maintain records of facility operations and provide regular performance reports to senior management.
• Serve as primary technical resource for building specifics and aligned product and infrastructure.
• Support sales tours, customer events, sustainability and safety initiatives, and audits.
• Develop, manage, and forecast OPEX and CAPEX budgets for the facility.
