Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Texas seeks a Data Center Chief Engineer to ensure peak operation of electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems. You will maintain, repair, and improve facilities, supporting AWS infrastructure across data centers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical facilities maintenance experience.
• 3+ years of electrical facilities maintenance and 2+ years of mechanical facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary escalation point for facilities-related issues and oversee routine and emergency services on critical systems.
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and troubleshooting within SLAs.
• Provide training and guidance to Engineering Operations Technicians and coordinate with the Facility Manager to set team culture.
