Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance.
• Experience reading and writing procedures, technical documents, and engineering drawings.
• 3+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary escalation point for facilities-related issues on critical systems.
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures and troubleshooting within SLAs.
• Provide training and guidance to Engineering Operations Technicians and coordinate with the Facility Manager to set team culture.
• Create and deploy new standard practices for Engineering Operations Technicians, Chief Engineers, and vendor support teams.
• Assist in building out new facilities and projects to increase efficiency.
• Respond to out-of-hours maintenance and emergencies as required.
• Communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Coordinate projects with IT and business leaders to optimize safety, performance, and reliability.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed by vendors and Amazon staff.
• Establish building benchmarks, analyses, and reports on facility operations and maintenance.
• Utilize MS Excel, Word, Outlook and other basic admin tools for day-to-day tasks.
