Job summary

Nesco Resource, LLC is seeking a Data Center Chief Engineer to lead maintenance across our critical facilities. You will oversee mechanical, electrical, and IT systems, drive project plans, and manage vendor performance to ensure high reliability and uptime.

Responsibilities include developing SMRs, SOPs, and EOPs, coordinating RCAs, and maintaining budgets. Strong technical knowledge and leadership are essential for success in a fast-paced data center environment.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of industrial HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical systems, Fire/Life safety systems, and control systems with emphasis on mechanical.
• EPA 608 Certification (Universal) highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 100% uptime in Colocation data center.
• Draft and maintain SMRs and periodicities per codes, OEMs, and best practices.
• Direct work by outside contractors and vendors.
• Contribute to maintenance budgets and cost estimates for repairs and projects.
• Support change management with documentation and SOP/MOP/EOP development.
• Coordinate with Facility Manager on RCAs and corrective actions.
• Manage maintenance work orders and asset tracking software.
• Communicate complex technical information across teams and to management.
