Job summary

CCS INC is seeking a Data Center Facilities Engineer to support critical facility operations, focusing on electrical, mechanical, and environmental systems to uphold our data center standards and a 99.99% uptime objective.

You will manage MEP systems (HVAC, UPS, ATS, generators), monitor infrastructure with Vertiv SiteScan/APC DCE, and ensure strict change control and security protocols across the data center.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering (or 10 years relevant experience).
• 3–5 years managing APC DCE/ITA and Vertiv SiteScan environments.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, UPS, ATS, and generator functions/alarming.
• 3+ years in an administrative/systems capacity.
• Experience with incident ticketing and change management tools.
• Strong communication skills in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Teams.
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and process-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage MEP systems supporting the data center: HVAC, UPS, ATS, and generators.
• Build, maintain, and monitor infrastructure using Vertiv SiteScan and/or APC Data Center Expert/IT Advisor.
• Support IT floor space, cabinet power, and U-space management.
• Oversee vendor-performed maintenance and equipment improvements.
• Ensure Change Management and incident ticketing processes are followed.
• Maintain data center inventory documentation.
• Enforce physical access, safety, and security protocols.
