Job summary

Edged Data Centers in the North American division seeks a Data Center Site Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations of critical infrastructure, including electrical distribution, emergency generation, fire safety, and site monitoring systems. You will partner with suppliers and internal teams to maximize uptime, safety, and operational efficiency across a broad, fast-paced portfolio.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with responsibility for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field.
• Over 10 years managing engineering/technical staff.
• 5+ years in project/program management.
• Experience with colocation operations and critical infrastructure.
• Experience managing multi-year budgets.
• Change management experience and industry certifications (ITIL, CDCP, AOS).
• Proficiency with CMMS, DCIM, and power metering systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead operation, maintenance, and repair of mission critical equipment and systems (electrical, mechanical, network).
• Manage provisioning of data center services and customer deployments.
• Supervise local engineering team and enforce SOPs and maintenance calendars.
• Develop and audit SOPs, SOPs, EOPs and change controls.
• Oversee maintenance contracts and vendor performance.
• Serve as primary technical/operational contact for customers and incidents.
