Job summary

Align is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee onsite electrical installation for data center construction and infrastructure projects in the Atlanta area. You will lead field teams, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the specified quality.

The role focuses on electrical power infrastructure, including busway, switchgear, panels, feeders, conduit, grounding and equipment connections.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of electrical construction experience in leadership roles.
• Experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, grounding and bonding.
• Ability to read drawings, specs and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily electrical installation activities, coordinating crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and work sequencing to support project schedules.
• Oversee installation of power distribution equipment, busway, RPPs, PDUs, conduit, feeders, grounding, and electrical containment.
• Review drawings, one-line diagrams, specifications, and submittals to guide field execution.
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, clients, and other trades to resolve installation conflicts.
• Monitor workmanship and progress, addressing deficiencies and schedule risks early.
• Maintain daily reports, progress updates, and field documentation; support RFIs, change orders, and as-built updates.
• Enforce site safety requirements and approved procedures for shutdowns, tie-ins, and work in operational facilities.
• Coordinate inspections and support testing, commissioning, energization readiness, and project turnover.
• Manage punch-list completion and ensure installations meet project quality standards.
