Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Electrical Superintendent-Data Center in Lithia Springs, Georgia. The role involves supervising electrical installations, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget control.

You will collaborate with the Project Management Team on buyouts, schedules, and labor while mentoring field staff. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of electrical construction supervision experience, familiarity with data centers or hyperscale

Qualifications

• Current State Electrical Journeyman License or 4-year engineering degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years experience in electrical construction supervision.
• Experience with industrial, pharmaceutical, or data center environments.
• Hyperscale data center experience preferred.
• Experience with $20M-$100M electrical projects preferred.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
• Understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and supervision of large teams.
• Ability to perform takeoffs and pricing for change orders and related project work.
• Excellent computer, communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills.
• Pre-employment background and MVR checks required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and direct personnel involved in the installation of electrical systems to ensure work is safe, on schedule, and within budget.
• Maintain a culture of safety and quality first.
• Understand project design, drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Management on material/equipment buyouts, schedules, labor, and tracking.
• Monitor workmanship quality and ensure compliance with project and company standards.
• Mentor and train field supervision and tradesmen.
• Perform takeoffs and pricing for change orders and project-related work.
• Evaluate productivity and schedules and optimize efficiency.
