Job summary

Actalent is recruiting an Electrical Superintendent to lead on-site electrical and mechanical construction for data center projects, primarily in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with some travel. The role requires coordinating crews, enforcing safety, and ensuring work aligns with engineering standards and client expectations.

The ideal candidate has substantial data center and MEP project experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with Procore and CAD-based drawings.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in construction, preferably in commercial or data center environments.
• Experience overseeing mechanical and electrical construction activities, including HVAC systems, process piping and related infrastructure.
• Proficient with project management software such as Procore.
• Ability to read and interpret project schedules and blueprints/schematics.
• Strong supervisory and communication skills with internal teams, vendors and clients.
• Commitment to safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical and electrical construction and maintenance activities for data center projects, ensuring safety and quality.
• Provide full project oversight to keep on time, on budget, and within specs.
• Lead crews and subcontractors, assign tasks, monitor performance, and develop the team.
• Inspect work for compliance with codes and safety requirements; implement QA procedures.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings.
