Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Electrical Superintendent for Dallas, TX, driving large-scale mission-critical and data center projects from installation through turnover and commissioning.

You will manage electrical subcontractors, develop schedules and budgets, and ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction on site. The role requires travel to project locations and close collaboration with project teams and engineering partners.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical construction experience on mission critical/data center projects.
• Experience leading electrical field operations (Superintendent/Lead Superintendent/Electrical Construction Manager).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings/diagrams with accuracy.
• Experience coordinating electrical, mechanical, and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction activities for large-scale mission critical and data center projects from installation through turnover and commissioning.
• Manage electrical subcontractors in the field, including manpower planning, work sequencing, and day-to-day performance.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules and budgets for electrical scopes of work.
• Coordinate with project managers, design partners, trade contractors, owners, engineers, and commissioning teams.
• Review drawings/specifications to ensure accuracy and constructability.
• Interpret electrical diagrams to guide installation and troubleshoot field challenges.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering and process improvements.
• Oversee jobsite activities including installation of power distribution systems and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance on active sites.
• Monitor quality and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate electrical work with mechanical/structural/commissioning activities.
• Use scheduling tools to track progress and report status.
• Maintain clear communication with field teams and stakeholders.
• Support commissioning by coordinating electrical testing requirements.
• Contribute to project strategy and client satisfaction.
