Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. in Pecos, TX, is seeking a Senior Superintendent for Data Center construction. You will lead on-site electrical activities, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on complex projects.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years electrical construction experience with 1 to 3 years in Superintendent or lead supervisory role.
• Direct experience on data center or mission-critical projects strongly preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and project coordination.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain.
• Proficient in reading complex drawings and BIM coordination documents.

Responsibilities

• Leads on-site electrical construction activities from mobilization through commissioning and turnover.
• Supervises field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to meet milestones.
• Develops short-interval plans, look-ahead schedules, and manpower forecasts.
• Ensures adherence to safety policies and promotes a proactive safety culture.
• Coordinates with project management, engineering, and other trades to resolve conflicts.
• Monitors productivity, tracks progress, and implements corrective actions.
• Leads huddles, coordination meetings, and subcontractor alignment meetings.
• Supports QA/QC, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Identifies and mitigates risks, delays, and field issues in real time.
• Ensures material management, delivery coordination, and site logistics.
