Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, a division of IES Holdings, seeks an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee fast-paced data center construction in Pecos, Texas. You will lead on-site electrical activities, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

You will manage field crews, review drawings and specs, and drive commissioning and turnover while maintaining budget targets. A Journeyman/Master license and OSHA 30 are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Direct data center or mission-critical project experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specs, and BIM models.
• Experience enforcing safety programs and OSHA standards on site.

Responsibilities

• Leads on-site electrical construction activities from mobilization through commissioning.
• Supervises field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to meet milestones.
• Develops short-interval plans, look-ahead schedules, and manpower forecasts.
• Ensures safety policies are followed and promotes a proactive safety culture.
• Coordinates with project management, engineering, and other trades to resolve conflicts.
• Maintains field documentation including daily reports and progress updates.
