Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical seeks a full-time Superintendent - Data Center in Pecos, Texas. The role leads all on-site electrical construction activities for mission-critical projects and ensures safety, schedule, and quality compliance.

Ideal candidates will have 8–12 years in electrical construction, including 1–3 years in a superintendent role, with data center experience preferred. Strong leadership and BIM coordination skills are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years electrical construction experience with 1–3 years in superintendent roles.
• Direct experience on data center or mission-critical projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of critical power systems and redundancy (N, N+1, 2N).
• Ability to read/interpret complex electrical drawings, specs, and BIM coordination.
• OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site electrical construction activities from mobilization through commissioning.
• Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to meet milestones.
• Develop short-interval plans, look-ahead schedules, and manpower forecasts.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Coordinate with management, engineering, and trades to resolve conflicts.
