Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Pecos, Texas, seeks a Senior Electrical Project Manager for Data Center projects.

The role leads electrical construction efforts across all project phases, from bidding and planning through execution and closeout, ensuring safety, NEC compliance, and on-time delivery. You will manage project teams, budgets, schedules, and client relationships, with heavy emphasis on data center experience and consistent, accurate reporting and forecasting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years electrical construction project management experience in all phases of electrical projects $20-$100M including mission critical, ground-up construction, and remodeling.
• Data Center experience is required; hyperscale Data Center experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
• Valid Electrical License on the Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.
• Proficient in estimating, budgeting, scheduling and project tracking.
• Detailed understanding of billing and financial reporting.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background and MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall management in all phases of construction for one or more Data Center electrical projects and develops new business opportunities relative to a Client group or geographical area.
• Manages projects to exceed customer expectations and ensures work adheres to NEC, safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within corporate policy.
• Represents company in project meetings and assists in labor negotiations and strategy meetings.
• Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect company interests and maintains good client relationships.
• Manages the project team to ensure delivery meets client and company expectations.
• Performs takeoffs and price change orders and project-related quotes.
• Works with Project Executive to ensure accurate tracking and financial reporting.
• Work required to be performed at the Project Site.
