Job summary

Accelevation seeks an experienced Electrical Foreman to supervise daily electrical work on data center projects in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead journeyman electricians and apprentices, ensure safety, quality, and code compliance, and coordinate with project teams to keep work progressing on schedule.

The role requires strong leadership, blueprint interpretation, and a proven track record in commercial/industrial environments, with travel up to 100% as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrician with 6+ years of experience and at least 1 year in a foreman/lead role.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate and direct crews.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid journeyman license (TX or NM) is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 100%.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily activities of journeyman electricians and apprentices.
• Execute electrical tasks according to project schedules, plans, and specifications.
• Coordinate with the Superintendent, project managers, and other trades to ensure seamless progress and resolve field conflicts.
• Monitor work to confirm quality standards, code compliance, and adherence to safety procedures.
• Train, mentor, and support team members to build skills and maintain high performance.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, and controls.
• Conduct daily inspections of work areas to identify hazards, verify safety practices, and confirm workmanship quality.
• Troubleshoot and assist with diagnosing electrical issues and implementing solutions.
• Enforce compliance with company policies, OSHA, and NFPA 70E safety standards.
• Maintain accurate daily records of labor hours, work completed, material usage, and issues encountered.
• Report progress, challenges, and resource needs to the Superintendent.
• Respond promptly to urgent electrical issues, including outages and equipment failures, to minimize downtime.
