Job summary

Accelevation is seeking an Electrical Foreman in Las Cruces, NM. You will supervise journeyman electricians and apprentices on data center projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and code compliance while driving productivity and quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers and other trades, reviewing plans, and mentoring team members. A strong focus on safety and accurate reporting is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a journeyman electrician, with at least 1 year in a foreman or lead role.
• Preferably in a data center or similar commercial/industrial environment.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills to direct crews effectively.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily activities of journeyman electricians and apprentices.
• Execute electrical tasks according to project schedules, plans, and specifications.
• Coordinate with the Superintendent, project managers, and other trades to ensure progress and resolve field conflicts.
• Monitor work for quality, code compliance, and safety procedures.
• Train, mentor, and support team members to maintain high performance.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
• Conduct daily inspections to identify hazards and verify workmanship.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutions.
• Enforce safety standards (OSHA, NFPA 70E) and report progress to the Superintendent.
