Job summary

Accelevation LLC is seeking an Electrical Foreman to supervise daily electrical work on data center projects in Dallas, TX, with travel up to 75%. You will lead journeyman electricians and apprentices, ensure safety, code compliance, and quality while coordinating with superintendents and managers.

The role requires at least 6 years as a journeyman electrician with foreman experience, strong leadership, blueprint-reading ability, and knowledge of codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a journeyman electrician, with at least 1 year in a foreman or lead role.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational ability.
• Excellent knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage workflow independently while supporting broader project goals.
• Valid journeyman electrician license preferred.
• OSHA/NFPA 70E certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct daily activities of journeyman electricians and apprentices.
• Execute electrical tasks according to project schedules, plans, and specifications.
• Coordinate with the Superintendent, project managers, and other trades to ensure seamless progress and resolve field conflicts.
• Monitor work to confirm quality standards, code compliance, and adherence to safety procedures.
• Train, mentor, and support team members to build skills and maintain high performance.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including conduit, wiring, panels, lighting, and controls.
• Conduct daily inspections of work areas to identify hazards, verify safety practices, and confirm workmanship quality.
• Troubleshoot and assist with diagnosing electrical issues and implementing solutions.
• Enforce compliance with company policies, OSHA, and NFPA 70E safety standards.
• Maintain accurate daily records of labor hours, work completed, material usage, and issues encountered.
• Report progress, challenges, and resource needs to the Superintendent.
• Respond promptly to urgent electrical issues, including outages and equipment failures, to minimize downtime.
