Job summary

Spencer Ogden is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager – QA/QC to support a large-scale data center project as an Owner’s Representative. You will provide field oversight of electrical construction, ensuring work aligns with drawings, specs, quality requirements, and schedule.

Qualifications

• Extensive electrical construction experience with a background in field supervision or construction management.
• Experience with electrical QA/QC, field inspections, testing, punch lists, corrective actions, and construction quality processes.
• Strong ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, schematics, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide owner-side oversight of electrical construction and QA/QC activities.
• Monitor electrical contractors and subcontractors for compliance with drawings, specifications, and project quality requirements.
• Perform field inspections and identify installation, workmanship, and quality deficiencies.
• Coordinate resolution of punch-list items, NCRs, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, schematics, and construction documentation.
• Oversee installation and quality of electrical infrastructure, including switchgear, transformers, MV/LV distribution, cabling, and terminations.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, commissioning, quality, and project management teams.
• Support electrical testing, commissioning, turnover, and project closeout activities.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure quality issues are addressed without negatively impacting project execution.
• Maintain effective communication with contractors and project stakeholders while representing the owner’s interests.
