• Experience with electrical QA/QC, field inspections, testing, punch lists, corrective actions, and construction quality processes.
• Strong ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, schematics, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide owner-side oversight of electrical construction and QA/QC activities.
• Monitor electrical contractors and subcontractors for compliance with drawings, specifications, and project quality requirements.
• Perform field inspections and identify installation, workmanship, and quality deficiencies.
• Coordinate resolution of punch-list items, NCRs, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, schematics, and construction documentation.
• Oversee installation and quality of electrical infrastructure, including switchgear, transformers, MV/LV distribution, cabling, and terminations.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, commissioning, quality, and project management teams.
• Support electrical testing, commissioning, turnover, and project closeout activities.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure quality issues are addressed without negatively impacting project execution.
• Maintain effective communication with contractors and project stakeholders while representing the owner’s interests.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager – QA/QC to support a large-scale data center construction project as an Owner’s Representative. This position will provide field oversight of electrical construction activities, ensuring work is completed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and schedule expectations.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong electrical construction background with experience overseeing contractors, inspecting installation quality, identifying deficiencies, and driving issues through resolution in complex construction environments.

• Experience with complex electrical infrastructure such as switchgear, transformers, medium-voltage systems, and electrical distribution.
• Owner’s Representative experience is highly desirable.
• Utility, substation, power generation, or large-scale industrial electrical construction experience may also be considered.
• Strong communication, documentation, and contractor-management skills.
