Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Electrical QA/QC Project Manager for a high-profile data center construction project. This on-site role requires strong field leadership, ability to oversee the General Contractor’s activities, and reporting on schedule status to the owner.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of electrical project management experience in data centers or electrical contracting, with substation and power distribution knowledge and proficiency in industry tools like Procore and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of electrical project management experience, ideally in data center construction or with an electrical contractor.
• Experience with substation and power distribution systems preferred.
• Familiarity with MEP design.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook; Procore, P6, CxAlloy.

Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholders and coordinate with clients and internal teams.
• Communicate schedule status and ensure on-time delivery.
• Track critical milestones to avoid schedule slips.
• Ensure governance, processes, and systems are applied.
• Produce formal project status reports.
• Monitor multiple construction projects and ensure standards.
• Interface with suppliers through trackers and reviews.
• Forecast milestones and manage design teams.
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, GC, and regional stakeholders.
• Respond quickly to RFIs and support cost control and value engineering.
